Burger Street History
The first Burger Street store came up in 1985 in Lewisville, Texas. However, the history of Burger Street dates back to 1967.
The founder Bill Waugh is a stalwart in the restaurant industry and is known for establishing many other restaurant chains like Taco Bueno, Casa Bonita, and Crystal’s Pizza.
An Albanian businessman, Bill Waugh established the first Taco Bueno in 1967. It sold the best-ever fast food that quickly gained momentum amongst natives.
