Halls Chophouse came up in 2009 in Charleston, South Carolina. The restaurant was founded by the popular Hall family, however, their pursuit of exceptional service dates long back. Mr. Bill Hall spent over forty years providing service in the culinary industry.

For most of his life, Bill operated hotels and restaurants in the cities of Pinehurst, Hilton Head Island, Sea Island, Napa Valley, and Pebble Beach. With the support of his wife Jeanne Hall, Bill was completely engrossed in serving in the industry.

It was when their daughter Stacey moved to Holy City to study at the College of Charleston, that Mr. and Mrs. Hall took the opportunity to open up their lifelong dream of owning their restaurant.

That’s how they decided to plant roots in the Lowcountry and conceive their; lifelong passion project.
