Revelator Coffee History
The first Revelator Coffee café came up in October 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The founders Josh Owen, Elizabeth Pouge, and Emma Chevaliers collectively ran the company with a combined yet widened approach.
In 2014, the company officially announced having its headquarters in New Orleans. Initially, the founders proposed to open four simultaneous locations to work as pilot projects.
With growing demand-supply, in 2015, Revelator Coffee moved to a 10000 sq ft. warehouse located in Birmingham.
As a part of what you can call a dramatic expansion, Revelator Coffee acquired companies like Wired Puppy and Octane Coffee in a span of 2 months.
These two major acquisitions added volume to Revelator Coffee making it a major brand in the market.
Revelator Coffee operated through 20 locations out of which 18 were coffee houses and the rest two hosted restaurants in the Southeast region.
The company also had two coffee houses in Massachusetts. Apart from that, the stores in locations like Nashville, Tennessee, Chattanooga, Charleston, South Carolina, and Atlanta were also under operation.
However, post-Covid, Revelator Coffee saw a drastic closer in most of its stores. However, there are only locations of Revelator Coffee operates in Birmingham and New Orleans.
