Sticky Fingers History

Sticky Fingers Inside usamenuprices

Sticky Fingers was founded by three friends named Jeff Goldstein, Todd Eischeid, and Chad Walldorf.

They were childhood buddies at the age of 12, and nothing was stopping their legacy from unfolding.

After college, Jeff worked at his father’s restaurant, Memphis BBQ. There, he learned about how to make a good BBQ and also how to serve it.

In 1992, his family decided to move to his mother’s hometown, Charleston. But there was something still missing.

What was that? Well, it was the traditional Memphis-style BBQ. He knew how good it was and that the people here would go crazy after experiencing its greatest.

So he invited his other two buddies and gave birth to Sticky Fingers that same year. These three worked like crazy and eventually created the legendary service that we all love.

This legendary service attracted the eyes of many loyal fans. Some of them were eventually turned into employees too.

It was a big moment, and they also managed to invent an entire community filled with passionate people and ambition.

These visionary people had big impacts, and people came from across the country just to enjoy their legendary BBQ and service.

Even the acting president of the time, George W. Bush, couldn’t stop taking a takeout. The growth streak has just started, and then Sticky Finger Sauces started pouring in.

The Home Shopping Network featured this sauce in one of their shows around 2005. It gave a massive boost to their overall sales.

This boost was so massive that the trio had almost zero time outside of work. That meant relationships were crumbling slowly, and they had to make a tough decision.

Family or business and the decision was instant; they chose family. In 2006, Quad-C Management officially acquired the Sticky Fingers Steakhouse.

Sticky Fingers Review

Sticky Fingers menu and prices are well-deserved at this point. There was some back and forth after the acquisition, but now it’s okay.

Because one of the founders currently runs the business once again, fixing the past mistakes from the bottom of the barrel.

This Buffalo Chicken Tots, for example, was one of the most hated dishes in the past, after the founders left. But just see how good it looks right now.

It had seasoned tater tots, topped with hickory-smoked pulled chicken, melted cheese, and queso.

But that’s not all; everything was later drizzled with buffalo sauce. Doesn’t that just sound great? It did not just sound awesome; the taste was also otherworldly.

The combination of pulled chicken, cheese, and buffalo sauce was something else. The chicken did not lose its original flavor; instead, it just went up a notch.

Next, we had a Memphis Bacon Cheeseburger. It’s one of their specialty dishes, and we were pretty sure it would taste great.

The burger was topped with BBQ sauce, bacon, lettuce, cheese, tomato, and onion. A rather balanced ingredient, if you ask me.

The base bacon had an unusually smoky flavor to it. That doesn’t mean it tasted bad; it was the best, and that’s probably what Memphis Style is.

Onion was pre-included, which saved us some time and probably extra charges. Some avoid adding this important ingredient because it helps generate a handsome sum of revenue.

Next up were their “Award Winning” Hickory Smoked Ribs along with House Salad.

The Smoked Ribs was the highlight of the series. There was not even a single shred of fat in it. That just shows how much time and effort it must have taken to prepare it.

Final Thoughts

Along with the house salad, the smoked rib satisfied our bodies and soul. It was crispy and smoked to the bone, making each bite rich in flavor and texture.

Sticky Fingers had a bad reputation just after the owners decided to sell the chain. It was getting too big too quickly, and they had no time to manage it.

Well, that turned out to be bad, but now that Walldorf is back on the show, it’ll only get better and better from here on out.

We have big hopes for the Sticky Fingers menu. It lacks numbers, but the taste, on the other hand, has zero competition.

It tastes great, the service also rocks, and the prices are well-balanced over the counter. All we can say is give it a go, and you will have the best dinner of your life.
