Anyone driving around valleys probably came across a random sign with “Berto’s” on it. Well, it’s not that random, and despite how it looks, Filiberto’s is related to it. Below you will find Filiberto’s menu with prices.

Berto’s is not just a name; it’s a brand. These names usually come with a set of initials, like RoBerto’s and Filiberto’s. So how can they rhyme in the same way? Is it a coincidence?

Well, no, and everything started with a single name. But soon that name turned itself into a full-blown restaurant chain.

These restaurants are open all day, serving fast foods like tacos and tortillas. Meanwhile, the banner that drivers see is coated in yellow paint along with a Berto name in red.

Followed by Mexican food, which makes everything clear about what you should expect on their menu. Filiberto’s is just like one of those restaurants that went big and turned this simple name into a trend.

So are you excited to know what kind of food these chain restaurants serve? Well, before that, let us learn how Filiberto’s menu came to light and exactly when this trend began.

Filiberto’s History

Despite how it sounds, it all came with a real Berto. His name was Roberto Robledo. A genuine Mexican took a part of his name and called it Roberto’s Taco Shop.

He opened his first stall in 1964 with his wife. It had the signature banned in yellow paint, a red-colored name, and Mexican food in green paint.

They served fast food with local flavors. Thanks to this, Roberto’s had a huge success in local areas. His food was popular, but his signboard surprised a few guys.

Its design attracted many small businesses, and they even used it in their small empires. This game gave birth to many alternatives like Eriberto’s, Alberto’s, Aliberto’s, etc.

The Tenorio family decided to open their version of Berto’s and called it Filiberto’s. According to locals, Berto’s became a legend that meant 24/7 Mexican food.

So if you ever stumble upon any Berto’s while driving by, don’t be shy; just head in and enjoy a freshly made taco. They all have almost the same name, despite not being owned by Filiberto’s.

Filiberto’s menu started serving a dozen meals per day. While also retaining Berto’s trend. In 1993, they expanded their business to the valleys of Arizona.

Soon, this trend got the attention of local businessmen, and they even started the same trend. All this went smoothly because Mr. Roberto did not sue anyone for trademark infringement.

He can still do that, but his warm heart wouldn’t let him. He is a kind man who is only after the hungry stomachs of drivers driving by.

The same goes for all Berto’s in town. So if you ever see one while driving, just make sure to make a small contribution by buying something. That’s all they ask for.

Filiberto’s Review

Filiberto’s menu was filled with classic Mexican food that everyone loved. Torta, for example, had eight active dishes, which was just wonderful.

The chicken torta was our favorite. It had shredded chicken in red sauce, lettuce, and guacamole. Meanwhile, Ham Torta also looked good, which had the same things except for chicken, which had ham meat.

The taco menu was the main highlight, so we ordered a few for ourselves. Pollo Asado Taco was the first target on the list. But our reason for choosing it was funny.

It reminded us of Los Pollos Hermanos, a famous meme from one of the lead cast members of the Amazon Prime series The Boys.

Anyway, this item had grilled chicken, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Rolled taco cheese with guacamole was the biggest meal option on the list.

It had 3 and 5 options, and both options had shredded beef-rolled tacos topped with guacamole and cheese. The 5-roll option also had a different flavor.

It was called 5 Rolled Tacos Cheese with Carne Asada, and it had shredded beef rolled tacos topped with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, carne asada, and lettuce.

We were also looking forward to their enchiladas. So we just had to order two Chile Rellenos from that section of the menu.

It had Chile rellenos topped with enchilada sauce, cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, guacamole, and sour cream.

The dessert section was also pretty detailed. Churros had four flavors. One was plain, while the other three were like this: vanilla, strawberry, and caramel.

We ordered the vanilla one, but the caramel also looked quite tasty. As for drinks, we had a glass of freshly poured Mexican juice. It had four options: horchata, Jamaica, piña, and tamarindo.

Final Thoughts

In the end, Filiberto’s is just another Mexican food stall. They do serve freshly made tacos, and the same goes for all other menu items.

But unless you have been eating poorly made tacos, they won’t taste any different. Well, it had quite a few flavor options, so that’s a plus point.

Filiberto’s menu is also quite huge, so there will be at least one item that you may not have eaten anywhere else.

But yeah, we can say the history part was the most interesting. This Berto’s trend is the real deal, and it’s a given that everyone will stumble upon at least one in their lifetime.
