Blake’s Lotaburger History
The first Blake’s Lotaburger store came up in July 1952, in San Mateo, Southeast Albuquerque. The founder Blake Chanslor was a WWII Navy Veteran who moved from Texas to Albuquerque, New Mexico after the end of the war and flipped the LOTA Burger to invent a new Mexican Tradition in 1952.
