When it comes to eating, there are no fancy ways. All you do is put the food in your mouth and chew it. But the Texas De Brazil menu with prices given below has something to say about that.

Meat can be made in a million different ways. But what about presenting it? Local restaurants will give you plenty to eat, but it’s the opposite in starred restaurants.

High-branded ones will give you one portion of food. Mostly, it’s a multi-course meal, but that also means if you want to eat the same item again, you have to come another day.

Meanwhile, local restaurants provide you with plenty of options, but all you care about is a unique experience, just like at a 5-star restaurant, where the Texas De Brazil menu is the only option.

They have their way of presenting food. That’s not all; even customers have the choice to eat as long as they like.

Each seat has two colored papers beside the table. Green means you haven’t had enough; red means your hunger for meat has vanished.

Sounds pretty unique, right? Well, just wait for the elephant in the room: the main dish. Yeah, the meat is the main highlight, and soon you’ll know why that is.

Texas De Brazil History

Texas de Brazil was founded on October 13, 1998, in Addison, Texas. It’s a Brazilian restaurant, as you may have guessed by now.

Salim Asrawi was the person behind this idea. But wait, was he a Brazilian? Well, most people will think a Brazilian restaurant must be owned by a native of Brazil.

But it’s the opposite in this case. The name of the owner doesn’t sound like Brazil. It’ll remind you of Dubai, where people have similar kinds of names.

It turns out that he was an immigrant from Lebanon, a Muslim-dominated country. We won’t dive too deep into personal information, but he came to the USA around 1981 along with a million other people.

The reason was a civil war in their homeland that lasted from 1975 to 1990. It was a pretty rough time for those million immigrants.

They landed on a new land that had foreign cultures. Instead of running from it, Salim was intrigued by how Brazilians lived.

Their way of living as well as eating was so unique and interesting that he just couldn’t stop himself from sharing it with everyone.

That’s how the Texas De Brazil was born. Brazil refers to Brazilian culture, while Texas is the founding location of this famous chain.

Anyway, there aren’t any tragic or big past moments that seem worth the while. This chain restaurant comes under the name Churrascaria.

This roughly translates to barbecue by modern standards. And you’ll exactly know why in the upcoming segment.

Texas De Brazil Review

Texas De Brazil’s menu offers the meats and side dishes in a churrasco way. It’s an old tradition where employees dressed as gauchos bring the smoked meat to you.

They cut the meat right in front of you and then serve it on your plate. As you may know about colored paper by now.

Seats with green ones will be served in the same way again and again until they use the red ones. Remember that its selection is pretty straightforward.

Pick your meat, get your salad, and end your meal with something sweet. There are no complete dishes with names.

Instead, you get to pick everything from six main categories: main, salad area, bar menu, hot items, desserts, wines, and spirits.

Picanha seemed to be the most recommended one when we visited. You have a total of four Picanha options: normal, garlic, spicy, and lamb. Pick one depending on your taste.

We will recommend going for either the normal one or the Lamb options. It’s a good choice to figure out how everything works. Once you are comfortable with their ways, pick the second or third one.

The salad selection is massive. But Hearts of Palm or Tabbouleh tasted the best. You can always ask the employee to suggest the salad of the day. Or look around; someone may have one you are looking for. In that case, don’t be shy and just ask the name.

Hart of Palm is a traditional salad option that comes from the core of the palm tree. Meanwhile, tabbouleh is a Mediterranean appetizer that combines ingredients.

It uses bulgur, mint, parsley, and chopped vegetables, then mixes them well with lemon or vinegar. It goes well with your meat and gives it a unique seasoning.
